RNG can be beastly, espcially with certain enemies crushing you if you aren't set up enough to face them. in battle play is a bit stiffer than the newer xcom games, more of a chess versus the more action feel of xcom. If you've had any exposure to wh40k universe it feels very accurate. you open more types of characters and abilities throught though primarily you are upgrading and empowering your tech-priests. Taking missions from each one has different levels of difficulty and different net rewards. you do perform upgrades in a sort of base settings, though instead of traveling around th eplanet on a map you are given messages to choose from different overseers that almost feel like civilizations advisors. In that this is a turn based squad game, it is similar to x-com. How does Warhammer compare to games like Xcom or maybe Divinity Original Sin - both games I really got into?Īre the other Warhammer games this same style - I know I've gotten a few already and haven't tried them.
